Comprehensive Foot & Ankle Care

We provide comprehensive podiatric care to address the most common and high-risk foot and ankle concerns. From preventive treatments for at-risk patients and advanced wound management to effective solutions for ingrown toenails and relief from ankle, heel, and foot pain, our goal is to restore comfort, improve mobility, and protect long-term foot health.

At Risk Foot Care

Specialized care to prevent serious foot complications in patients with diabetes, PAD, and other high-risk conditions.

“At-Risk Foot Care” focuses on preventing serious foot and ankle complications in individuals with systemic health conditions, most notably diabetes and Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). These conditions can lead to nerve damage (neuropathy) and reduced blood flow, increasing the likelihood of unnoticed injuries that can rapidly worsen.

The goal is to prevent severe complications such as infections, ulcers, and amputations through regular monitoring and proactive treatment. People with these conditions often do not feel pain from small cuts, blisters, or pressure sores, making early detection and management essential.

Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown Toenails:

Relief and prevention for painful nails that grow into the surrounding skin.

Ingrown toenails occur when the edge of the nail grows into the skin, causing redness, swelling, and tenderness that can escalate to infection if untreated. They are often caused by improper nail trimming, tight footwear, toe injuries, or hereditary nail shapes.

Prompt treatment is important to relieve discomfort and prevent infection. Depending on severity, care may range from gently lifting the nail to partial removal or a minor procedure to prevent regrowth of the problematic section.

Wound Care

Wound Care:

Advanced treatment to heal foot wounds and prevent infection or complications.

Foot wounds, particularly in patients with diabetes or vascular issues, require expert management to avoid infection and long-term damage. Left untreated, even minor wounds can progress to severe complications, including amputation.

Specialized wound care may include debridement to remove dead tissue, use of advanced dressings, and pressure offloading to aid healing. Ongoing assessment ensures that underlying health factors are addressed to support recovery.

Ankle & Heel & Foot Pain

Ankle/Heel/Foot Pain

Diagnosis and treatment to restore comfort and mobility for foot and ankle pain.

Pain in these areas can result from overuse injuries, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, arthritis, sprains, or fractures. Without proper treatment, discomfort can limit daily activities and cause long-term mobility issues.

Diagnosis begins with a thorough exam and may include imaging like X-rays or ultrasound. Treatments can involve orthotics, stretching programs, anti-inflammatory measures, and, when needed, minimally invasive procedures.
